Riverfront Commons is a regional riverfront project connecting the river cities of Dayton, Bellevue, Newport, Covington, and Ludlow. Dayton’s portion is a 3 phase project, offering riverside walking, running, bike paths on the Northside of the floodwall. Phase 1 has been completed and is open to the public. Named Ahren’s Way, after Private First Class Henry Ahrens, a Dayton WWII hero, everyone is welcomed to enjoy our riverfront.
Dayton offers a community garden for residents to have space to grow fresh vegetables and flowers. Located on 3rd Street, Dayton Community Garden is a great place to get your hands dirty and harvest fresh food for your family.
