What to Know About the Reopening of Businesses in Dayton

Beginning on May 11th several businesses will reopen, including:  manufacturing, construction, professional services, fan-less horse racing, pet grooming and boarding, and vehicle and boat dealerships.  Office based businesses can operate at 50% capacity.

The City of Dayton remains under a State of Emergency, so the city building will remain closed to the public until at least June 1st.  Please consult the updated list of City Services during the State of Emergency.

Other Important Dates:

May 20th – Kentucky’s retail stores, in-person church services and funeral homes may resume business.

May 22nd – Restaurants my resume at 33% occupancy (along with outdoor seating).

May 25th – Personal services, including barber shops, nails salons, tattoo parlors, and tanning facilities. 

June 1st – Movie theaters and fitness centers.

June 11th (Tentative) – Governor hopes to open campgrounds, both public and private.

July 1st – Bars
