Duke Energy has implemented an accelerated service line replacement program (ASRP) to replace aging metallic natural gas services with polyethylene (plastic) material. EN Engineering will be supporting Duke Energy with the permitting process for these planned gas service replacements within the community.

Each resident will receive a letter from Duke Energy with advanced notice regarding the replacement program. We expect to be working in Dayton in the coming months. In anticipation of that work, Duke Energy’s contractor will be stopping by your property to schedule an appointment. If you are unavailable when our contractor arrives, they will leave a door hanger providing information on how you can contact them to reschedule. Please be on the lookout for this important letter.
