REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

 

The City of Dayton, Kentucky is requesting Request for Proposals (RFP) from professional architect and/or engineering design consultants, firms and individuals to perform the task of designing construction plans for two (2) sidewalk enhancement projects:

PROJECT I – Design of a new sidewalk system from 7th Avenue to Chateau Drive and from Belmont Road to Ervin Terrace including designs for the installation of ornamental and safety lighting.

PROJECT II – Design of Sidewalk “bump-out” enhancements to the 500 & 600 blocks of 6th Avenue, including designs for the installation of ornamental lighting, trees and other aesthetics.

Said Requests for Proposals shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope, marked “Dayton – 2016 Major Sidewalk Enhancement Project”, and must be delivered to the CITY OF DAYTON CLERKS OFFICE, 514 SIXTH AVENUE, DAYTON, KENTUCKY 41074 no later than 4:00pm ET, OCTOBER 27, 2016.

Said requests will be evaluated and referred to the City Administrator for recommendations to the Dayton City Council.  The Dayton City Council has the right to reject any and all bids.  The owner reserves the right to waive any informality.
